MPaint is a reproduction of a sampler present in a music making feature that was in a video game thats near and dear to my childhood.

This plugin attempts to preserve the unique voice limitations of the original sampler, and the samples were recorded with a high quality reproduction of the soundcard of the originating console, preserving the unique artefacts of the digital to analog conversion of the original chip.

Stupid Simple Sampler is an easy to use WAV file sampler.
It’s a 64-bit VST, drop-dead simple, and a heck of a lot of fun. It can handle any WAV sample, mono or stereo, any bit depth or sample rate.
It only has 5 controls. 1 is a box where you can chose your own sample. The other 4 controls are A, D, S, and R (Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release.) You don’t even need to touch these four controls to use the sampler. They’re just for adding options.
It’s an old-school style sampler, like back when things were not complicated. It’s inspired by the tape samplers used by Pink Floyd in the 60s, and the hardware samplers used in rap in the early 80s.
8 included samples : bell, tone, meow, voice, bounce, clink, stick, and strings.

It’s even easier to use and simpler than our simple sample VST, Stupid Simple Sampler, which is like Stupider Simpler Sampler, except Stupid Simple Sampler has ADSR controls. Stupider Simpler Sampler can handle any WAV sample, mono or stereo, any bit depth or sample rate.
It has ZERO controls, just the green square button that you press to chose your own sample.

Just save the green one, then change the file name of the red or green one to default__browse.png.
Stupider Simpler Sampler uses very little memory. I’ve effortlessly run a project with 39 instances of Stupider Simpler Sampler.
