Bass Saturation and Sub-Resonator. A massive sub-resonator inspired by classic hardware. Its main purpose is to add immense weight and thickness to your bass, kicks, or deep vocals without muddying up your mix.
Main Controls:
– Amplitude (0-10): Controls how aggressive the resonance is. At 0 it’s transparent, but crank it up and it injects up to 14dB of pure sub-bass.
– Frequency (0-10): Sweeps the exact frequency of the resonance (0 = highest, 10 = lowest).
– Range Buttons (40 Hz / 100 Hz): Define the frequency range the knob operates in. (For example, both ON targets right around 43Hz—perfect for kicks).
– Flat: Bypasses the resonance, leaving only a super clean high-pass filter.
– Saturation Section (Tube / Tape / Xform): Three flavors of analog saturation (Tube, Tape, or Transformer) running with oversampling to prevent digital aliasing.
– Sat Mix: A parallel mix control (Dry/Wet) for the saturation. Adds analog warmth without killing your original transient punch!
