A free resonance suppressor. GLOAM is a free automatic resonance suppressor. It watches the spectrum, finds the frequencies that stand above their neighbours and ring, and turns each one down only while it rings, so the rest of the take keeps its level. Sung notes, which arrive as a series of harmonics, and steady tones under 250 Hz, such as an 808 or a held sub, are protected by design:
– Depth, Sharpness and Selectivity, Attack and Release, Soft and Hard modes.
– L/R, Link and M/S stereo, a focus range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz and a five band sensitivity curve.
– Delta to hear only what it removes, Mix, Trim, A/B, undo and redo.
– 23 factory presets for vocals, drums, guitars, bass, keys, mix bus and mastering.
– Three quality settings; latency (1024, 2048 or 4096 samples) is reported to the host.
– No account, no licence key, no activation, no time limit.
